Accessible Northland
Dove's Tail Tourism understands that we all have different needs that we must take into account when we are considering where to take a holiday, where to stay and what activities we would like to do.
Northland is a magical part of New Zealand and we want to provide you with information that will help you make an informed choice about the ease of access to travel, leisure, shopping and healthcare options available here.
A preliminary accessibility assessment has been undertaken on some of these businesses with others receiving a more comprehensive assessment. Our goal is to provide a more detailed assessment of all businesses on this site over time.
Some businesses have also recieved Doves Tail Tourism training around providing exceptional customer service to mature guests. This training also benefits those with a physical and/or sensory impairment visiting that business.
If you have any queries or feedback regarding the accessibility of any business posted we would be pleased to hear from you.
